Weekends Away

Edithburgh Fun Weekend Away

  • Upcoming Fun Weekends Away: TBA

Join Instructor Steve and Divemaster Tahlia on a weekend at the Dive Lodge in Edithburgh! Daily guided dives will be organised at the best dive sites of the Yorke Peninsula! Go critter hunting at the Edithburgh Jetty, search for dragons around Wool Bay or (if the jetty is open to divers) get entertained by the playful sea lions at the Port Giles Jetty!

The standard costs for the weekend are as follows:

  • 1 Night: $45
  • 2 Nights: $90

These costs are for the accommodation only. Food, drinks and rental gear are not included, so you’ll have to organise your own breakfast and lunch (we will go to the local pub for dinner).

The Sultana Point Divers Lodge sleeps 28 people across 7 bedrooms:

  • 3 x Bedroom with Double Bed + Bunk (3 x 4)
  • 1 x Bedroom with Queen Bed + Bunk (4)
  • 1 x Bedroom with Queen Bed + Single (3)
  • 1 x Bedroom with 2 Bunks (4)
  • 1 x Bedroom with 2 Bunks + Trundle Bed (5)

There is off street parking for roughly 10 cars and the lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen with big fridge, a dining room and separate sun room with bar fridge. The bathroom has 3 showers and there are 2 outside toilets with flood lights for night access. There are also outside chairs and tables available for us in the side garden or the front veranda.

Bedding and towels are not included so need to be supplied.

Address:
3 Sultana Point Road
Edithburgh, SA
(it’s the third house past the caravan park on the Esplanade heading south).

For bookings, please e-mail [email protected] and we will e-mail you a payment link or call (08) 8122 5003 to pay by credit card over the phone. Your booking is only confirmed once it has been fully paid.

You can get air fills at the petrol station in town ($10 per air fill). Please drop your tanks off after every dive and don’t wait until the end of the day to get them filled, as the tank filling capacity of the petrol station is about 8 tanks per hour(!) and they only operate until 5PM. We may also take a portable compressor down with us. If that’s the case, fills will be $5 as usual.

At the end of the weekend every diver needs to help clean the lodge. It’s a social weekend and if everybody helps out a little bit we can keep the costs as low as we can.

Please remember to:

  • Take out your rubbish
  • Take any of your leftover food back home with you or throw it in the bins outside
  • Turn off lights in your room when you leave

Should be a great weekend! We’re really looking forward to it!!

If you would like to book on for this trip, please contact us at (08) 8122 5003 or at [email protected] for more information.
