Dive Centre Coordinators

We are looking for full time Customer Service Representatives.

Diving Adelaide is Adelaide’s largest scuba diving centre, providing scuba diving training, guided tours, rental equipment, dive gear sales and online sales through Online Dive Gear, one of the largest dive gear web shops in the country.

We are a high tech, fast-growing company in one of the most fun and exciting industries in the country so if you’re looking for a career in e-commerce, retail, marketing, sales or customer service then this is where you need to be!

You will be on the front lines working with the dive centre’s busy shop coordinator team, assisting the managers with administrative tasks and the sales team with product sales.

The ideal candidate is someone who has affinity with the ocean (being a scuba diver is a plus, but not a necessity, as dive training is what we do best), who has a genuine desire to help customers, solve issues and go the extra mile.

Selection Process

For successful candidates, becoming a full time Customer Service Representative is an easy 4-step process:

What's it like day to day?

That’s a great question! Here is a snapshot of what becoming a full time Customer Service Representative is like:

  • Full time shop coordinators work during store opening hours, which are from Tuesday to Saturday, 9-6PM (8.4 hours excluding breaks) on Tuesday and 9-5PM (7.4 hours exluding breaks) the other 4 days.
  • Part of the day is spent in the office, answering customer enquiries, scheduling customers on courses, inbox management, processing online orders and payments and processing quotes.
  • Other tasks include: preparing courses and tours and assisting the sales team with in-store sales.
  • We like to mould each position around the applicant’s strengths. If you’re a star at administration and writing, this will be your core task. If you’re strong in sales (upselling) and quoting, this is what you will focus on.
