Dive Centre Coordinators

We are looking for full time Customer Service Representatives.

Diving Adelaide is Adelaide’s largest scuba diving centre, providing scuba diving training, guided tours, rental equipment, dive gear sales and online sales through Online Dive Gear, one of the largest dive gear web shops in the country.

We are a high tech, fast-growing company in one of the most fun and exciting industries in the country so if you’re looking for a career in e-commerce, retail, marketing, sales or customer service then this is where you need to be!

You will be on the front lines working with the dive centre’s busy shop coordinator team, assisting the managers with administrative tasks and the sales team with product sales.

If you have good work ethic, administrative experience and/or sales experience and a positive big smile attitude, then we’d love to welcome you to the team!

Positions are available immediately.

Main Tasks

Administrative Support - answering customer emails and phone calls, assisting customers with online sales and providing quotes, following up on online sales and abandoned carts and solving customers issues.
Retail Sales (In Person) - providing advice and assisting customers with in store purchases. At Diving Adelaide we offer services (such as cylinder air fills and small gear adjustments on customer gear) as well as the largest selection of dive gear, spearfishing and freediving brands and gear in South Australia.
Bookings - assisting customers with dive course and dive tour bookings.

Job Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level organisation skills
Digital literacy
Proactive approach and big smile attitude
Available full time from Tuesday to Saturday (38 hours)
Available for at least 2 years (must be AUS/NZ resident or have a long-term working visa)

The ideal candidate is someone who has affinity with the ocean (being a scuba diver is a plus, but not a necessity, as dive training is what we do best), who has a genuine desire to help customers, solve issues and go the extra mile.

What we offer

With the right attitude we can teach you anything! Successful candidates will also receive training for all of the following:

Learn to scuba dive - or further your scuba diving education (optional).
Learn all about the gear - we'll teach you all about scuba diving, snorkelling, freediving and spearfishing gear and you'll have a chance to test much of this out for yourself!
E-Commerce - you'll learn how to work on the world's biggest E-Commerce and POS platforms.
Third party shipping platforms - these integrate with everything. It's like magic, but we'll show you how it works!
We do a LOT of bookings - you'll work with our online booking software to manage them all!
Online rental gear software - this software will become one of your favourite things! Especially in the busy Summer season.

Dive Professionals

We’re always on the lookout for dive professional to expand our dive team!

As the largest dive centre in South Australia, we offer the best opportunity for continuous work! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting in the industry, keen to work a few days each month or full time, looking for a sidegig or a way to live a lifestyle job while earning a decent income, we would love to hear from you!

We run midweek and weekend courses all weeks of the year and social dives, guided tours and refreshers every day of the week!
